On 10th November 2016, Kuniko Kitayama gave a lecture at the 45th Training Meeting of Private Schools in Kagoshima Prefecture, which was held at the Shoushikan High School in Shibushi City, Kagoshima. Her lecture asked: What should we preserve for the next generation?

The lecture was received well, and many surprise guests were in attendance including professional lifesaver Mr. Seiji Iinuma, professional free-diver Mr. Ryuzo Shinomiya and ocean adventurer Mr. Hisao Nakazato.
